Germantown Wrestling is composed of three different age grouping levels. Our foundation starts with the Hornets Youth Club (USA Wrestling Affiliated), then Kennedy Middle School Wrestling (WIAA Affiliated), and lastly is Germantown High School Wrestling (WIAA Affiliated). If you would like more specific information regarding Hornets, KMS, or GHS Wrestling, please click on the appropriate link or contact Jeff Szohr (Head Wrestling Coach). Welcome to Germantown Wrestling!
We would not have the success we have today without the strong support from our School District, Wrestling Families or our Germantown Community. The support from these groups is very much appreciated and taken in with a great deal of respect from the Germantown Wrestling program. We ask that you check out our sponsors page to see the great local companies and families that have supported us along our Germantown Wrestling journey and we ask that you support them in return! Thanks again to all our sponsors, may we continue to reach out, grow and succeed together.
Our goal as a coaching staff is to provide each wrestler with the necessary fundamentals and skills to succeed in the sport of wrestling through various individual and team strategies. We emphasize family, team, academics, community, and sportsmanship - from the Germantown Hornets Youth Club to Kennedy Middle School to Germantown High School, we are Germantown Wrestling!

Hornets "Summer Dual Team":
The Hornets established summer dual team in 2012. The dual team will be comprised of wrestlers (Going into 8th grade to graduating seniors) that will compete in the month of June each year. To make the team, you must have been a member of the Hornets in at least one of the Hornets sessions. Hornets members are not limited to Germantown athletes only.
Hornets "Combat Cup":
The "Combat Cup" was established in 2012. The combat cup was created to promote involvement during the off-season and to keep student-athletes involved. The combat cup is comprised of "quads" or wrestlers from KMS and GHS in teams of four. The "quad" will work as a team and earn points based on criteria set by the coaching staff. Contact Coach Casey Gabrielson for more information on the dates, rules, points and team registration.
